has any one shopped at the site and was it a good experience thinking of buying the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 from here.

But if any one know's of a better price or shop please advise the shop has been rated by nextag uk I've also read that the Tamron is a bit on plastic side (usa) and a lot of owners said " focal angel lets it down" is this true.??

Onestop-Digital are in Hong Kong, so you'll be liable to pay duty, VAT and a handling charge. They do however offer to pay your VAT back. See www.onestop-digital.com/catalog/vat_reclaim.php. I don't know if they actually do.

As for the plasticy comment: Tamron uses cheaper-looking plastic than Pentax does, but still the build quality of ther top lenses is very good. I have the 17-50mm that I assume is similar though smaller.

I don't know what "focal angel" or "focal angle" means. The 28-75mm is primarily designed for full-frame digital and film, though of course you can use it on APS-C too if you're happy with the standard to moderate telephoto range.

I don't know Panamoz.

Any company you've never heard of - check where they are first. Quite a few dealers are in Hong Kong despite charging in Pounds.

Apparently they do .. have seen it on other forums, people that have been charged got refunded with no problem at all.
