House fly, tempted with sugar bait.
In a kitchen, very near you, right now?

C&C welcome.

Very impressive capture!

I really must try tempting one of our resident bumblebees into landing and staying still for long enough to get a few shots. They keep trying to get into the house at the moment for some reason.

Very nice set up. The sugar crystals really lift this above an ordinary fly shot.

That is one of the most impressive pictures I have seen on this forum.

Thanks, Smeggy.

I was making some coffee & it was buzzing around, being a pest!
Rather than squirt it, I just put some sugar on the worktop & it stayed there for a good 2-3 minutes while I got set up!
Not disturbed by a lump of Pentax glass about 100mm from its nose(?)
