The rocks make a good subject, esp in the first one. Not quite so sure about the water - it would be interesting to know what the exposure settings were. Did you use a polarising filter?

No I didn't use a polarising filter this time, but was hoping for a better? sea state re. waves, I used a 10 stopper and a graduated filter. I struggle with the polariser not being able to see where it kicks in, turning it.
The exposure settings were; manual, ISO 100, f11, 4 seconds, 28mm on the first, on the second pic same but 10 seconds as I held a second ND16 (4 stop) in front( at least I believe it was this shot ) . 3rd pic f11, 6 secs. Others were as the first.
