A wonderful set (I'll probably upset some for saying so) but that's the way I feel. What a brilliant place to take pictures! I love the cobwebs on the first one, the gritty sharpness of them all and the subtle post-processing.
By the way, I am old and feeling older every day!

I really like this set too, particularly "veiled". Echoes is really nice too but I wonder if it might be even better cropped square by loosing the top off the image?

We're each only as old as we feel I guess, and each of us is only getting older one day at a time.

Cracking set i-Berg - like Andrew I think they are lovely and very much part of a story that may never be told.
Veiled is really my favourite and the toning works for me too - rust is becoming the "in subject" it would seem ! Maybe from those of us who have realised our fragility perhaps ?

I have to agree with all the comments, they all are great. As an "older" person I can remember these cars, on the roads, and working in a garage some of the various parts for them.

Great stuff iBerg! Echoes is my favourite although I will respectfully disagree about the crop as I think the seat of the trike improves the shot. I also like Veiled a lot, but on this one I think the top bit could be cropped to leave a landscape orientation.

Gosh I have to agree with others' comments. A very intriguing set which gives a feeling to my mind of a life interrupted. I particularly like the original crop of 'echoes'. All commendably sharp and well processed to my mind as well. Really good stuff.

I prefer the original crop of Echoes, now that I have seen them side by side, but can see that the square crop may have its own attractions too.
Veiled I had a play with before I posted the first set. I decided then to use that particular crop, on account of the line that I wanted to lead out into the top RH corner, and because of the way the rule of thirds grid worked with aspects of the subject. Hear you though re a tighter crop Tim, that was one of the options a tried out too.
Tony - fragility perhaps, and it may also be nostalgia (like Colin and Mat have indicated) - either that or because we are watching these things slide into a history that is unfolding behind us.
Maybe we are privileged to be in a position to not just watch this, but to interpret aspects of it with images we create.
Maybe photographers (unintentionally for some) take on a responsibility for stewardship, just as we look to images left for us by others who have taken similar paths.

Came across an old barn converted into a cafe / grocery store, in the middle of nowhere. It contained some interesting memorabilia, as well as pictures from the 1800s, when the area was being extensively logged (clearfelled) for construction and mining timber. While I didn't take pictures of the pictures, I did poke around some of the bric a brac they had on display.
