I think the conversion needs a bit more punch. I would try increasing the contrast, at the moment the whole shot looks a bit grey - nothing is truly black.

I agree with Tim, but I'd certainly be careful and probably do it selectively, maybe using burn and dodge. It's also a bit "tight", compositionally, with the right-hand side of the door needing a bit more room. Can't understand why the bottom left corner is out of focus, it's not that close to the camera...

I'll just put on the usual stuck record - are you sure it's sharp? That lock and hasp doesn't look sharp even if it is.
Personally I find that my eye just wanders over this image with nothing to hold the attention. I think it's very hard to create a good image from material like this and I think that you could have lost the upper window and branch and made a decision about the relative importance of the path and grass. That area of ivy by the door will always be so massive that it will dominate the whole image. I wonder if B&W is right here and if a desaturated image that retains some greens and yellows from the grass mightn't be better?
