I prefer the colour version, and agree a slight crop would be beneficial to lose the distracting detail on the far right...the rust and grunge look good in colour!

Thanks for looking and the comments.
After having another look I think the bit at the side looks like an old coffin. Wonder if I could clone on an old handle. I will be putting the images through photomatix soon and will post the results

Thanks for the kind comment David. Yes it was from Tanfield last Saturday. Four of us from our camera club went. Weather was rubbish so went to Consett for lunch and then took some of the Theodolite and made our way home. Wanted to do the Angel of the North and Penshaw Monument but cloud was very low by then so they are on the list for another time.
