Off to Spain we go

I am flying to Malaga tomorrow for a few days in Almeria.
First time I have taken the DSLR and stuff, just checking, there is no problem flying with camera gear as hand luggage is there?

They let me take mine as hand luggage on a flight to Spain and another guy had his camera round his neck so I doubt there's an issue.

Returning from Sicily they had me take the camera out of my carefully packed bag (yes ladies some men can do this) and show that it worked. Irritating to say the least.

Have a good trip, if you see a guy walking around or lurking in the bushes taking macro shots with a Pentax it might be Mike-P.

Try to shoot some amazing photos out of the windows, I hope you get a clear one though, they can be quite filthy!

Well I am hoping to get outside once or twice even if it is cold at....... ahh you mean the aeroplane windows. I'll have to give that a go, maybe the Pyrenees, at least it will be sunny at 35000 feet

Well it's also very cold at 35000 feet but like you said sunny but I wont go out if I was you, even if the windows are dirty

If it isnt to cloudy you will see enough and if you have a window seat (if not too busy just move to one) during take off and decent you might be able to make some shot from that, they can look very interesting because you see things from another perspective.
