Notifications Page

There's now a new notifications page available so you can keep up-to-date with activity on site that relates to you.

You'll receive notifications on posts you've made or where you have engaged with a post belonging to someone else. Especially handy to be notified if someone has liked your photo or left a reaction to one of your comments, along with any new comments.

The old email notification system remains in place for those who still want to be notified that way for new comments.

There's a new link in your profile menu:




...and notification alerts on the grey sub-navigation bar:




If you come across any bugs or erroneous data, please report any issues using the Reports system.

Discovered and abused!!

Heavens - there are loads of them in there! Does it gum up the system if they are left to accumulate or ought they to be culled now and then?

The system will manage itself so no need to worry about them building up.

If generally people think there’s too many I can shorten the period from 60 days to 30 days?

I've got a message notification that I can't shake. I think it was due to receiving two unread messages in one thread. Maybe the site only cleared one of the notifications without checking the read status of the other.

Hi, I think the same has happened again, but this time the earlier message (of 2) isn't showing in my inbox. The unread notification is still there.

Hopefully that's sorted and the missing message restored.
