The image does give an impression that the elephant is movin' faster.
I love elephants, I have spent a 'penny' in tryin' to save 'em in Africa. They're fantastic creatures and so beautiful to me!

I think the fact the image is not perfect helps it - it looks so natural and amazing. The only thing I don't like about it is (yours?) strong reflection on the car's window. But I believe you didn't have time to open a window or put a polariser on the lens

The odd thing is this wasn't the most bizarre site on Colombo's roads today. I later spotted two chained elephants being transported on an open backed lorry!
