I received an odd email of not confirming registration. Therefore Greetings one again perhaps?
Sorry for enigmatic user name. It's quite accurate as to how i feel about on-line forums and social media. Difficult to find any mature facts or decent conversation theses days. Ended up paying for a private on-line forum a while back to get some peace, worth every penny.
Not much to say about myself I'm primarily a Pentax user along with Nikon and Sigma. Nature, eco management and research photography mainly. Used to do quite a few pre production camera tests but lately there hasn't been much with investing my time in. I am not a fan of 4k video and most or my business contracts don't want it. I don't have any social media and i won't although most on-line forums theses days qualify as social media. Before any one asks, no i don't use or frequent PF, i don't need any more nightmares.
I do on occasion upload photos to the flickr k200d users albums. Mostly images of rare plants including almost forgotten garden vegitable varieties since they really should not be forgotten.
Personally i like wild spaces, canoeing, snowshoeing, atv, basic survival camping (the real type not the american type) considering that Northern Canada isn't going to be forgiving what so ever.

Pentax K-3 (x2)

Nikon D850 (x1)
Sigma SD Quatro H
Sigma SD-1 Merrill.

Welcome!
I’m sure one of the moderators will be around to help you shortly regarding confirmation emails and the like.
This is a great forum, mature conversations when necessary and not so mature when not!
Looking forward to seeing some of your photography!

No worries. I managed to get the problems sorted out except this intro that won't let me edit my original posting. A rather short "time to edit" clock.
No matter.

The NX-1 is one of my favored cameras as well as being the only mirrorless i use almost every day. Has Pentax level image quality, not overly small, uses the mft mount.
probably the best experience i have had with mirrorless cameras. Without a doubt far ahead of a Fujifilm X-T4. I do recommend trying one, however you won't wish to let it go.

No.
The main issue with those is that Samsung admitted defeat and killed its camera system off several years ago.

Well that's enough of this place. To many attack dogs, still it was worth an attempt.

Have fun.

Three of us. I hadn't even read the thread until now and he(?) has gone already?

It's no surprise to me that he/she has an aversion to online fora if this is the way he/she reacts to others comments. His/her way or no way I think.

I don't reckon he/she was really serious about joining in the first place given the tone and content of the posts, then not forgetting the username. He'll be quite content until his M4/3rds packs up and discussion on that doesn't go down too well here with it being non Pentax related. Why not talk about his/her Pentax collection? I guess we'll now never know what he was comparing it to, he/she brought that discussion to an abrupt end! All the best to him/her anyhow.
