Not as old as it looks...

Inspired by Lennybloke's question on which was best, colour or mono, for one of his pictures and my suggestion of sepia, I was inspired to re-do one I did some time ago (the original has the edges cut off) for another forum. With a bit of added noise and some lens blur, it could have been taken, ooooh, some time ago.




But it does support the idea that it works best with the right choice of subject.

Agreed, could have been 100 years or 100 minutes ago - also it's possible the statue is made of sandstone, so supporting the colouring we might see in our minds
