Have a look at the wording in this ad by a self confessed long term Nikon and Leica user:-

One wonders why he had the camera body in the first place!

And I think Leicas are over-priced and over-hyped but I wouldn't be stupid enough to say so in an advert to sell one.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

It's one of those ads that you are in two minds about.
1. Rescue a Pentax camera from someone who clearly does not understand
2. Why give money to an ignorant oik in the first place.

Well it's clearly terrible. Tell you what, I'll take it off his hands now so he doesn't have to look at it!

Then stick the 55/1.8 on the front and promptly wipe the floor with the images he gets from his Nikons...

Almost worth paying a few quid to leave some appropriate feedback

Well it's not the loveliest Pentax camera ever is it? Perhaps if he'd tried an LX things would be different.

You wouldn't be the first - despite showing "100%" it appears he's been dormant for a couple of years. Previous to that we have buyers reporting broken goods, goods not arriving, stolen goods...

Think I'll skip that one personally

There are rules against this kind of language in eBay and as more people complain as more likely it is his auction will be pulled by eBay.
Report it (is anonymous so he will not have a clue who has reported him)
As for the second advert it may even be prohibited as eBay has pulled stuff off line like that before if you mention weapons systems in the adverts. Worth reporting as well.
Kind regards

It's nice to be nice!

I reported the ad for "profanity in the listing". I wanted to report "the seller is a moron" but they didn't seem to have that option.

I wouldn't mind one, but for a very esoteric and specific reason. As it can be programmed to leave the film leader out I could use it with my Rondinax daylight developing tank.

(I know about the tools to pull the leader back out, but they seem more hassle than my current technique of using something with manual rewind and stopping as soon as you hear the click of the film disengaging from the winder spool).
