Nice series but I don't think the last two are genuine. It's not raining, foggy, or misty, and the sky is blue with not many clouds evident. That's never happened to me when I've been anywhere close to Wales, let alone in Wales.

I really like this image of yours, but it needs a crop. I hope you didn't mind, here is what I mean.
I think this image has a lot of potential in regard to PP work, ie toned, film grain and some burnin' in of the sky maybe, but I think the sky is great.
I think the horizon line needs to be corrected too.

The human element is great in this shot.

I really like the third on. The high-key exposure really suits, giving an impression of isolation.

I like the third one too. Very nice. If it were me, I'd crop out a bit of sky and clone out the tower thingy on the hills.

Yes I'm a fan of the third one too. I also agree with PaulyRichard's modifications....i would have done something similar too.

Looks like you managed to get around a bit, shame about the weather...the sun does shine here from time to time, honestly !!!

Shot wise I'd pick the 3rd one too, I think St Cwyfans church is best photographed a little bit more "straight on" to emphasise the fact that it's actually on an island in the middle of the sea, the "causeway" gives a nice lead-in too.

The Menai Bridge needs evening light for me, it stands out much more from the background then. Red Wharf Bay is another favourite place of mine, it's quite difficult to photograph..your shots works well

Simon, your fantastic galleries made it difficult for me to find fresh shots!
I did take many grey misty ones but I don't think they are too popular so I won't clog the airwaves with them. Went to the copper mines - waited most of the day - didn't stop raining till light failed!
I agree about St Cwyfans - I just liked the foreground rock!?
As for the Menai Bridge - more like this??
