The list of exhibitors now usually bears no real resemblance to who actually turns up. Canon were due last year but a couple of weeks beforehand pulled out. Anyway, I don't really know why Canon & Nikon bother. They both have huge systems, but tend to only show off camera bodies and a few lenses, most of which you can see in almost any decent photographic retailers without having to pay an entrance fee...!! All a bit pointless really.

Why would Pentax show up? unless they've something new to show us!
Last year they had the 645D, K5 and Kr.

Showing something new should not be the only reason to attend an event like Focus.
Its called promoting or advertising, something Pentax UK seem to be a bit lacking in.
Although at last years Focus the Pentax staff seemed more interested in something a visitor brought (you know who you are....Danny:lol
