Beautifully composed and full of unanswered questions. Just who sat there last? Who will sit there next? The choice of lens is perfect.

I can answer the questions. The seats are empty due to Mr Hollande's latest imposition, the sitting on a chair in a park tax.

Very nice - I love the DoF that you've chosen, so that you can still see the empty benches either side of the path in the background.
My only criticism - the white post (back left) - my eye keeps getting drawn to it and away from the chairs in the foreground.
