... for revisiting one of my favourite local spots. This was the last day of 2019, another day of sunshine and fog, both, for me, lovely to see in their own way. When faraway locations are in dreamland, I'm always happy to potter about here with a camera. Hope these appeal! All K-1 with DFA 28-105. Thanks for looking!

They certainly do. A very worthwhile potter.

Never mind the landscape, the set deserves to be called 'Studies in light' because that's what it is IMHO - the landscape used as a vehicle to catch the light in all its variety.

Thanks, Steve. That’s exactly the reason I keep going back to that area. The light is always different and, when the sun is low in the sky at this time of year, it can be really magical.

The last three capture the foggy atmosphere just right. 7 in particular works for me, mundane yet almost magical in quirky fashion.
