Well I can't say from experience, but when has that ever got in the way of having an opinion.
I have the 58mm F1.4, it is lovely. Funny I could not afford decent Pentax glass but this was roughly £400 and good for full frame. It is beautifully built. Lovely focus drag, just the right friction. An absolute pleasure to defocus.
Photozone do say the Zeiss is better, but it is also twice the price, not twice as good.
Anybody with a DSLR and a 35mm film SLR could do a lot worse for the money.
Here's a 58mm at F2.8 hand held ISO200 1/1500s

Thank you Doug, it looks like a pretty lens, I wonder if it's better then for example the Tamron 90mm or Pentax DFA 100mm

Stefan,
I think better but not at macro. The Voigtlander is 1: 1.8 with the close up lens, 1:3.5 without. The Tamron and Pentax are both wider and AF.
I am surprised its not a little faster f2.8 maybe but I'm not a lens designer.
However. You'll feel better with this in your hand (I'd imagine :wink.
The Nokton 58mm looks pretty good on the front of the K-7.

The 90mm does look a little funny with its narrower front thread. Perhaps with the hood it will look more balanced.

Looks lovely.
It has 9 aperture blades as does the 58mm. Here's what the 58mm does. You can see the flattening off round the circles.

Doug it's not really the roundness that's important but the way the light is distributed inside those circles. Pentax and Zeiss tend to have a slight ring around the edge and that makes the bokeh busy.
What you want is the bokeh you see from the taillight of the car, the very soft edge of that would draw a beautiful "creamy" out of focus blur.
Here this a photo of the beloved FA 77mm ltd, just look at the upper left corner. link
You can spot some individual bokeh there and you see it's almost doughnut shape and you see the type of out of focus blur that gives.

Stefan, another black art to be investigated.
The 58mm does have slighty busy bokeh.

The Nokton when it was relaunched was one of the best value primes out there in PKA fit - a stunning lens that is easily built to "Limited" quality. Mine got me completely hooked on to fast primes. If the 90mm is as good as the other CV lenses, it'll be a good one.....

Do you think this lens is any good?
I wonder how it compares against Zeiss.
