New Toy

I've just acquired a Uniplus Tube 25 Pz-AF for the first time - I've used other makes of AF extension tube, but I don't think I've ever had one that the AF works properly and the contacts ensure that it works with SDM lenses and allows aperture control.

It arrived this morning so I popped the DFA*50/1.4 onto it and tried a few full frame shots with the K1 Mkii - I was pleasantly surprised, everything worked perfectly and there is no vignetting that I can see.













I'll give the DFA*85/1.4 a go at some point, but this is a promising start

I think I prefer the first one - is there any left?
I'm guessing this was the boxed EBay item from last week? I'm glad I didn't bid or we would have been competing!

Yes David, there is about half a bottle left for this evening, if you're passing by drop in for a glass

Yes, it is the ebay one from last week - it had a fairly low starting price so I made an offer that was more than others had sold for (in other mounts) and it was accepted. I've been on the lookout for one for a long time, they just don't appear very often

So, another reason for going into the garden for a quick 10 minutes that turns into an hour or more...

It sounds like the tube that all tubes should be. Enjoy! (both the tube and the bottle)
