Z-1 was introduced in 1991-2 and it would have been £600-800 new, I paid £580 for my Z-1p in 1995, and I bough a S/H Z-1 in 1998 for £250.

I'm sure the Z1-p was more like £1,000 when I bought mine (from the USA, where it cost rather less) in late 1994.
Modern bodies are better made, more versatile and, of course, cheaper to run!
