New member says Hi from the Netherlands

Hi All,
I would like to introduce my self to you all. My name is Martin, live in the Netherlands and as of today i am a registered forum member. Bought my first Pentax Dslr (ist DL2 with kitlens) today also, so an exiting time is ahead of me, i hope
My photographic interest goes to landscape, macro, city's, architecture and streetlife. I love to work in monochrome to. Hope to learn a lot of you all and above all i hope to have a very pleasant stay here at the forum.

I dont know what the heck is happening to my posts but when I come back to a thread they seem to have dissapeared , I was the first to respond to this thread and my reply is nowhere in sight, has anyone any ideas on whats going on?????

There is a small 'dutch' community on here and I'd recommend if you lived in the Ranstad check out www.imagesphotoclub.com.

Pentaxuser is a great place, gets interesting if you annoy the pet forum rottweiler, but we are all friendly..

This is a great forum, friendly, helpful and informative. Most of the time anyway. Certainly more of the time than many others

@ Peter: Sorry to say, but i live in the north east of Groningen. Nice website you mentioned .

@ Gwyn: You are right about some other places. I used to be on the Nikon Forum. Some of the members over there bash your head if you even dare to ask about a non Nikon lens. Did not feel comfortable any longer.
Anyway......., glad to be here.

Totally unknown, unless by some mischance you didn't hit "submit". I've done that before now. It would be a bit irritating if it were a long post that failed to appear.
