New Member Introducing Myself

Hi all

I have just registered my membership for the group. Please if I sound like I don’t have a clue, be gentle with me (your right I don’t!). My brief history, long time ago I was keen on getting myself all geared up and looking forward to creating a good knowledge of photography and a portfolio of photos. I bought one of those brand new ME Supers that had just arrived in the shops, just the tool for learning the ropes, but alas after a short period a divorce got in the way and I ended up having to sellup and put things on the back burner.
Now I'm back to give it another try (my new wife is very supportive and keen too). So I have been busy putting a kit together for both of us and the old experience of my ME Super has made me go for Pentax again. So far I have accumulated a ME Super. SFXn (hopefully add a MZ5n in the near future) various Pentax and Sigma lenses, Manfrotto tripod plus other bits and pieces. The family also has a Fuji S360 digital and a Sony TRV 340E camcorder.
I probably will not contribute much to the group (except when I need advice) in the short term but hopefully I can help somebody in the future, but I will research posts before I ask any questions that may have been answered before.

I don't know where you have been getting your kit, but Ebay is a great place for bargain film cameras, as well as lenses. However, be careful!
