Nice to have another film shooter!
You seem to be well set up for some time: I also have an MZ50 with a Sigma 28-80 zoom. You can do quite a lot with these.

Yes I have had my set up for some time , I used to fine it frustrating when I was younger because I found it hard it hard to pay for this hobby . But now I can so am going to start using it again

Hi and thank you all for the warm welcome ,Its nice to find a forum for film and not just digital camera's . some people have asked me why i just don't just buy a digital body and forget the film . think is, there is nothing wrong with my MZ and i dont think i have ever used it properly
so i will be asking lots of questions as i get back into taking pictures with my MZ

I have both digital and film and find I enjoy photography with the older bodies. Black and White is still best with film I feel.
There's nothing wrong with film and it is fun to be a contrarian sometimes!

Welcome Adrian - although I use mainly digital these days - I am a bit of an MZ collector (which probably makes me a rarity) I have the MZ5, 5n, 6, 7, 10, 30, 50, 60 and MZ S and yes you have come to the right place - from my own short time as a member - a friendlier more helpful bunch you will find hard to meet
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Welcome. Although I probably shoot 100 digital images for each frame of film I shoot, my success rate with film is much higher. I think I am too tight to waste it!

I have a Pentax MZ-50 that i have had for over 10 years and have always been happy with the pictures that it produces . I have a few lenses , the one that came with the MZ wich is a sigma 28-80mm , a pentax f zoom 70-200mm wich i have just bought for £20 . a friend’s dad has let me use his 300mm Chinon mirror lens just to see how they compare to a normal lens , going to try a few pictures with it soon
as i am just starting out agin i will probably asking a few questions as i find my feet
