New M42 mount camera

Posted 22/11/2017 - 00:48 Link
A camera with a 35 mm film back
And an apsc digital back
And an M42 lens mount.

What do you folks think of this?

I think I land at an ad site trying to flog the domain name ! ??
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Incorrect links removed.

Looks a bit spurious when we can use a K mount film camera for film or a K mount digital camera for digital. With a Mount Adapter K we can also use M42 lenses.

So I don't see any advantage to a Pentax user really.
Best regards, John

An interesting concept.

I recall something similar not so long ago when an entrepreneur was looking for sponsorship to develop a digital back that would convert the Pentax LX film camera to digital. I don't think that project got off the ground but I would be curious to see how this pans out if it's genuine. Although I have my doubts as to whether or not it would appeal to the mass market or professionals.

This is pure nonsense and in no way connected to Pentax so why waste time posting it?

Now a camera that warms pies up and chills beer would be of great interest to this group
