I'm a tad confused, which for a Monday morning is not an unusual thing!
I thought that Pentaxbabe took the image.
My only thoughts that a flash was used were because the way that particular leaf that the damsel is on has some reflections on it. Maybe it's because the leaf was directly in the sun.
Very good shot though, personally I would have gone for a tighter crop and cut out the leaves behind...but I
am a fussy person anyway

Just to clear up the confusion. I did take both photos myself. However, Amin posted one of his photos of a Dragonfly on the gallery after I posted my of the Banded Damonsel. As Amin's seemed closer and more detailed then mine despite being taken with a macro lens, I sent Amin a PM asking if he had cropped his and whether this was why his was better. I the sent Amin the shot I was referring to and Amin cropped it and did some basic pp on it and sent it back to me, suggesting I upload it to Your Photos to get people's comments. As I had nowhere to upload it from Amin was kind enough to send me a link to his private server to use. I the interim I had taken the shot os the fly which I was really happy with and had sent this to him to see explaining that I was keen to post this shot. Again Amin was kind enough to let me use his server, however, this time Amin didn't change the image at all, which is why it is so big. The Damselfly was taken on Saturday at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve and the fly was on Sunday in my garden in Chesterfield. Both where taken in natural light.
Hope that clears up any confusion. We were not trying to mislead anyone, Amin was just being nice and trying to help.

I think Paul wasn't implying that either you or myself were trying to mislead anyone. I am sure I am correct in assuming that his comment that being monday he is usually confused was also a joking comment. Didn't you notice the smilies on his comments?
I think he got more confused because I replied to his questions about the flash as I was curious too. .
But I dont see where the big file is actually, am I missing something here?
Let me check the server, I think it was my mistake anyway uploading without resizing, completefly forgot that with while feeling enthusiastic in wanting to upload it so you could get some constructive comments.

No I didn't see the smilies I wasn't upset by Paul's comments, I just wanted to explain how you came to be pping my photos I like the size of the fly picture but I was a little concerned it might be seen as being too big to upload It is Monday, I have had a really busy but good day at work, even though the air con wasn't working first thing. But I found I was very hot, bothered and tired on the bus home and now have to try and do some more of my induction programme which I was mean't to have finished this morning

Right having read your comments Pentaxbabe (love the username by the way) and Amin's I must say that Amin is right.
I was in know way having a go at you or Amin and definitely didn't think you were misleading anyone.
