Interesting idea the Flickr chat forums.
Having traded my KX in May for a KR the last update I had (1.02) for the KX was for the higher capacity new SDXC cards (memory limit not speed) followed by KR and K5 updates for the new GPS gadget (1.11).
Always hidden little speed tweaks, bug fixes etc though I'm told with Pentax.

Not noticed any difference Trixie since updating to 1.02. I understand there may be a tweak with the battery meter.

I am also a member of the K-x Flickr group. I have loaded all the firmware upgrades. Must say I havnt noticed a great deal of difference..

It's probably also the last update for the Kx anyway so why not take the effort?

Thanks everyone, I took a chance and I've done it, not used the camera today! but out with it tomorrow so I can see if anything looks like its improved David Storm thinks there maybe an improvement in the battery meter. Cheers Trixie
