I was recently in a similar boat and decided to go the way of a Gr, with the wide adapter, I just don't like the current offerings if you stick anything bigger than a 50mm on them, they look unwieldy and feel very out of balance, Something with a bigger grip would be good, I'm hoping Ricoh Pentax do something in this segment before I've got my Gr money saved up, Well you never know. I would like something suitable for those MF bargains, as I can't see me buying into Limited's any time soon...

That's a shame really, the new HD limited lenses are getting superb reviews and three of them are already tested on PU. See the pane on the right.
The 35mm Macro seems to be a stellar performer and the 70mm is not far behind. I did love that 70mm when I had it, I really must try and get one. Too many goodies to spend on I'm afraid.

And when I win the lottery I'll certainly give them a look, but there'll be a K1 FF before then and a raft of new glass

I agree with what paulyrichard has said about the 35mm Macro HD.
Looks soft and I would say it's either faulty or had a dirty
filter on it.
The test needs to be done again with another sample.

The only reservation about the new Ltd lenses is that the application of a new coating , however good it may be, is the occasion for a swingeing increase in the retail price - well over £100. I'm entirely happy to do without the claimed marginal increase in contrast when shooting against the light.

The tests on PU so far show lenses which break the Y-axis on their MTF graphs, but I haven't checked if that's new compared to the SMC versions.

Those Sony cameras look odd! But full frame in a smaller than k5 camera (I'm guessing they're about the size of aP30 or smaller) sounds interesting! They will also make almost the perfect partner for those lovely old k lenses, making use of the whole imaging circle and offering superior focus peaking. I just wish Sony's menu system was better
