New Cheap(ish) lenses

Now we have the 35mm F2.4 which is getting good reviews (not least from me), what other cheap(ish) lenses would we like to see from Pentax?
I will start

28mm F2-2.4. Yes I know it will be more expensive to produce a 28mm that is faster than F2.8, however as it is the EFOV of 42mm, it is a close to the naked eye as you can get on an APS-C sensor, and probably worth the extra for that 1/2-1 stop.
50mm F1.7. Why not? the FA 1.7 was good, so why not another?
90mm F2.8. Nice focal length and would give the EFOV of a 135mm. Would be quite cheap too.
135mm F3.5. Great focal length, but for cheapness would have to be F3.5 (like the budget lenses of old, and to not step on the 50-135 F2.8 toes) Would have to have a 135mm F2 DFA* too, but that is another subject.
finally
200mm F4-F4.5, would be lighter and cheaper than the DA* F2.8, for those on a budget.

What do others think?

Something over 300mm?

I'd go for a 24mm f3.5 (no need for a wide angle lens to be particularly fast), agree with your suggestion of the 28mm, see no harm in a cheap nifty fifty and struggle beyond that.

At longer lengths, I still think Pentax need a (semi) affordable zoom that goes beyond the 55-300. A reworked version of the Tokina 80-400 would add something desperately missing from the Pentax lens range, and I suspect would be likely to sell in larger numbers than long primes.

F3.5 is slightly too slow for me. I like primes when they offer more control over dof than the lit lens, so maybe a 24mm f2 or 2.4 with good sharpness wide open. Make it a cheap plastic non-pancake DA-L so not to tread on the 21mm ltd's toes.

A prime between 17mm and 19mm / 2.8; 15mm is too wide for my liking

Head over to the japanese Pentax site and order the 600mm (made to special order); I don't think it will fall in the category 'cheap(ish)' however
