You mean it's not available in PK-fit? Damn!

I quite like the idea of things like that, but I wouldn't pay anything near the price they're sold for. You can get some weird effects with some of the old off-brand manual focus lenses too, and i'd rather go down that route as they produce more usable images.

Love the video, the guy Blunty provides a great overview of the plastic Dreamy Diana Lens which looks like it has been covered in glue.

Blunty sell the Canon and join Pentax!

Not a patch on the iPhone Hipstamatic app, I've bought all the lenses and films and loving it.

OMG Some people just looking at this and some guy put this down as the lowest point 1 star for the K5 and this is want he put i cant beleave this??

( I purchased this camera for its weather proofing and robustness so I am quite disappointed that the lens release button fell off after about 2 months of very light use.

The camera itself is easy to use and capable of taking some outstanding photos. However, some skill is needed. For example, a friend took better pictures with his Canon point and shoot than I did with the much more expensive K5 on a recent boat trip on the Solent. This is very likely to do with my skill as a photographer but the point is that I have found that some care is needed with this camera to make sure it is properly set up for each shot.)

why don’t people go on a course, then buy the bloody camera!
gets me mad.

Just get an old UV filter and smear it with vaseline. That way you can get the horrible effect and, when you get bored with strange arty farty types swooning over the results, you can take the filter off and return your lens to its original quality!

The weird part is that I find a DSLR a lot easier to use than any compact I've ever handled. It's bigger, the buttons are better placed, and it's easier to hold. I imagine that reviewer couldn't quite understand the concept of looking into the viewfinder to frame a shot rather than using Live View...

As for Apple, there isn't much they can do about my old 35mm kit...

Canon cameras are useful....I find that Canons are great for camping trips... You need something to hammer in those tent pegs with. Just put some waterproof matches in the film chamber, a couple bandaides, some water purification tablets in the battery compartment and an old AE-1 becomes a useful hammer/rock/survival kit that makes you look like a pro photographer

as for the toy lens... a sheet of saran plastic wrap over any lens....
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

The thing I find most odd about "Lomography" is that they are expensive. Film is much cheaper from other outlets including Boots... Personally, anything that keeps manufacturers of film making the stuff is OK by me, but charging almost twice the price per roll than usual seems counter productive.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
