Nice bag. I have the Lowepro Stealth Reporter 500AW and whilst it is a very good bag, I don't like having all that weight on only one shoulder. I've stopped using my Lowepro Slingshot 200AW for the same reason.
I now use a Lowepro Fastback 350 and its a very comfortable backpack style bag. My only criticism of it is that it doesn't cater for a tripod/monopod.

Big shoulder pad or not MArtin, I find shoulder bags too painful after only a short time of carrying it. I should add that I have osteoarthritis in my spine so that doesn't help either.
For max carrying capacity I use my Tamrax Expedition 7x, supremely comfortable and it handles a tripod too. Although there's no room left for water, sandwiches, bottle of wine, beer, brandy, etc. OK, forget the water.

sorry to hear of your osteoarthritis Peter.
I am now looking to upgrade my back pack also i have a tamrac expedition 5 which has been brilliant but since i got the extra body it's now a bit small.
Never thought i'd hear myself say that

I originally wanted a lowepro stealth reporter 650aw but was open minded all i've used for the past few years is lowepro and tamrac.I got to my local camera shop and saw the Hama Defender series.I was blown away by the quality and size which is equal to if not better than lowepro and tamrac.
I ended up with the Defender210 which is a mammoth bag but for what it costs you get alot of bag for your money.

There is enough space inside the bag for 15" laptop' 2 or more K20's with grips and lenses fitted also space for 5 or more other large lenses and loads more space after that .It comes with an all weather cover' a memory card pouch a large lens cleaning cloth
