i think you're right! the position is not that good, i should have shot to him from lower, but it wasn't possibile!

What a lovely shot as is.
You could play with the cropping just a touch:
- Trim the bottom edge so that the shadow of the duck's head is lost.
- Trim the RH edge back to the tiny whirlpool in the top RH corner.
This would re-position the one fully visible eye nearer the centre of the shot, and make it the focus point of the whole picture, while moving the crown and beak just a touch nearer the edge (rule of thirds, sort of thing).
