I do not think it looks that bad. It looks like sunlight was perhaps yellow from the side and the flash causes a conflicting blue light from straight on.
Take out the flash spots form the eyes and maybe bring down the blues in the head a bit to make it not look so 6500K from the flash.
But I think anything more than that might be very difficult in PP because the flash appears to have come form straight on and gives it a flat look as well. Either a more diffuse flash, or better yet use the flash off-camera to make the light look more natural and give some depth.
Also, darken the background a bit.
Dunno if this makes much difference, but a quick two minute touchup.

Thanks,it was the pop up flash,but as it was daylight and about 15ft away I didnt think it'd be as noticable as it was.A metz 58 is on the wish list to play with off camera flash.

For a brown Burmese cat, there is a bit too much contrast between the head and the body colour.
The body needs to be a shade darker, more like the colour of the paws.

I snapped the neighbours cat sitting on our roof yesterday,I used a bit of flash as the fur is really dark.Does anyone have any good ideas of PP for me to make it look better as the flash seems to give it a bit of a fake look.
P.S I know the photo itself isnt good it was purely a test shot to see how the fur textures came out.
