Abstract of shades and shadows

Durham Photographic Society had an assignment outing to the banks of the River Wear in Sunderland on Saturday. The assignment was based at the National Glass Centre there. Barrie Forbes was there too - I wonder if he's going to post any pictures.

Number 3 - shades - is a stunner! I love the black and white treatment as it really highlights the light vs dark, the different textures and the shadows... fantastic!
