It has probably been mentioned before but National Geographic do a series of large hardback photo books that are brilliant. Some are available at Amazon for as little as £8. The others are about double that.

Agreed. I prefer slide shows where I can control the time per image, so that I can ponder over the interesting pictures and skip quickly through the rest.
