Nantwich Firework display

I love doing these trace images because they're quite easy. The venue meant it wasn't really possible to get a foreground, more of a pity as I was stood on a canal bank so might have had some reflections with a bit more planning, and I stupidly thought I'd need the long lens when in fact I'd have been better off using the kit lens. I spent all my time on the shortest focal length and missed a lot of bursts, with the 18-55 I'd have got them. Like this one:

Biggest danger is ending up with dozens of virtually identical shots, though - like any technique it can end up being over done. Still, pretty lines in the sky.

Well done, Mike, for getting in first!

I like them all, no.10 being my pick of the lot.

Looks like you've discovered the Higgs- Boson particle in no.2.......

Have a good time on the 5th.

Roger.
The more I look, the more there is to see!

These are great! not see too many fireworks yet round my way. I especially like number 8 and 9 as they show some tantalising hints of the lay of the land.

All good

Cheers

Yes! I left what turned out to be only a few minutes before the end, had to get back home and then back out to the pub. I wasn't going to go but then realised what a clear night it was.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

There's a few more organised displays on next weekend, if it's clear I might go out again.
