MZ-7 or MZ-30

I am looking to replace a broken MZ-50, which of these two would be the best value for money? And what are the main differences?

For many people, the fact that the 30 can't use old M & K lenses would rule it out. If you only ever use a modern AF zoom, that won't worry you.

Hi,
Both the MZ30 and MZ 50 were designed as entry level SLRs and tend to like working fully automated. Both have what people refer to as a "crippled mount". This means that you can only use leses with an A setting on them. The MZ7 is of a higher spec and will take all the leses including the K and M ones. The MZ7 also has one extra mode. Given the choice, I would go for the MZ7. It will prove more flexible in the future.
