MZ-60 battery issue

Hi all

I just replaced the batteries onmy MZ60QD since the indicator was flashing. However...after replacing the batteries the indicator light is still flashing.Any ideas anyone?

Have you checked the battery compartment contacts to make sure they are clean?

thanks. have checked that and the batteries are brand new...

QD...Quartz databack...Does it have its' own battery? Could that be the cause? is everything else working or is it dead? could be broken/loose contact inside the camera?

Try the batteries in some other equipment to check they are OK (difficult I know, perhaps take them back to the shop and have them check them) and/or try another new set from a different source/shop.
