Downloading once to my PC instead of uploading images ever so often - makes sense to me. Besides, PhotoME is a small program which does not put extra load on the computer. And it can be integrated with Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer, which means you can check an image with just a right mouseclick.
My vote goes to the PhotoME.

I suppose it's possible that some people, who are playing with their photos while at work , might not be able to install software. So this website would have some use for them. I can't see the point for anyone else though!

Has anyone used myshuttercount.com as a quick alternative to PhotoMe?
:
You also don't have another hardly ever used program cluttering up your PC. I have only checked my shutter count once, when selling a camera.
Sorry, I didn't explain very well did I, yes I meant instead of downloading PhotoMe.
I've got a fairly new W7 laptop and I only install things that I know I really want.
In what circumstances would uploading a (20Mb or so) RAW file to this website be quicker than opening the RAW file in PhotoMe?
Regards, Chris.
