A very nice clean uncluttered website which I found it easy to navigate.
( your introduction into photography almost mirrors mine! )
I like the simple slideshow on the homepage, although I can't see the whole photo without scrolling down (this could of course just be my monitor)
One small point Nigel.....I find the copyright symbol on each photo rather off putting - you already have the copyright notice at the bottom.
Otherwise a very pleasant visit to your website

One comment I'd make is to change that Coast & Country Images Logo.
The font and image seem out of place with the rest of the site to me, but the rest is quite functional.

Louise - Clikpix costs from £40/year but I have to say that I think it's not that easy to use when building a website. I come from an IT background which helped me but I can see how some people would struggle. They do though offer a bespoke website building service for which a quote would be obtained first.

A very enjoyable portfolio of excellent photos. I particularly liked the image of the paddle steamer Waverley, it brought back childhood memories of summer holidays at Rothsay and steamer trips up and down the Clyde on vessels such as Waverley, Jeanie Deans etc.
The website is easy to negotiate. Well done.

C&C most welcome - it took me a long time to build it using Clikpic but I felt it was worthwhile as it gave me a format to add a bit of narrative to each image.
