My new diffuser

So I spent £30 and got myself a new dome diffuser. It arrived today and below is the first shot I took with it - of my son. Please excuse how he looks - he is home from uni :) As far as I am concerned, I am quite happy with the diffuser except for one small niggle. The dome appears to be quite heavy so the flash has become top heavy and tilting it forward even a tiny bit makes it to collapse (I hope I have made it clear - I have set the flash pointing straight up). Are there any DIY fixes? Cheers
