My first outing with my K5 & 15mm Ltd, come to think of it, it was my fist outing with a pentax...ever!

I think I'm gonna like this combination.

Nice shot

The evidence appears to suggest that your thinking may be correct
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

It Gareth has you 15mm can I have... no, that would just be greedy.

For a first Pentax shoot this is very pleasing...lovely to hold and use, aren't they?
Best wishes,

Andrew

Good to see your first Pentax image posted here Neil, and you picked a good one.

You can size them up to 800 long on the longest side, on this site - they don't have to be quite as compact as you've made this one.

Thanks, I did see it was a wee bit on the compact side, I thought I'd copied at 800...Oh well back to the drawing board.

Thanks for the comments, they're appreciated.

I found the K5 really easy to operate although I'm sure that I've only just scratched the surface of its capability.

I'm also wondering wether I should weld the 15mm on the front as a permanent addition:

Does that mean Gareth is in line for the whole kit then?

Thought I'd repost the pic at 800, it looks much better than the original squished version that I posted.

Damn you. I have more mundane things to spend my meagre funds on than a K5. But.............
