That second Tornado shot is something different. Well done for them all. Which is easier fast jets or flighty birds?

I think it's fast jets, considering I got a half decent pic on my first outing, with birds it took a lot more, the jets are a lot more predictable in their flight path.

I've still to do some really serious work with the stuff I took, so many pics and so little time

Very true, much faster than 1/100 and they tend to look pretty rubbish.

And likewise that Osprey that was displaying at Farnborough. 1/125s, in this, and still hardly any rotor blur. A nice dust spot, though, before someone points it out

Some really good shots there, a shame that one of the tornadoes is a bit soft; I love the effect of the exhaust on the rear one. I've never tried shooting an airshow, in fact haven't been to one for years.
