Ive just brought my first digital SLR camera Pentax K20D it has lots of buttons and functions that i dont understand yet compared to my old sony compact digital camera. But i brought it for the long term and to improve on my photography interests. It seems to be very well made and balanced i like the fact that it has alot of features.I would like to be able to use it to its full potential dose anyone know if PENTAX run any courses for there cameras or would i be able to attend any digital SLR camera course.

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

I don't think Pentax themselves run courses, however, the basics of photography are essentially the same whichever brand of camera you use so I'd suggest finding if there are any camera clubs in your area. For issues specific to your K20D you can always ask on these forums and someone will help out.

The magic lantern guides are cheap and excellent.

Oh, and by the way, welcome and enjoy your camera.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I agree with womble, that and read the manual when the battery is charging.

Welcome and enjoy our brand of humour and good advice.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
As a beginner in Digital SLR world, reading the K20D manual (three times ) and this forum helped me a lot.
