Just bought this little baby + a 400mm Seimar lens in a secondhandstore for 22.

Haven't cleaned it yet.

under the box where you type theres a button says image click and you get
2 sets of brackets and you need to put the direct address of the image in between them.

Erik

You've linked to the web pages where the pictures are hosted, not to the actual images themselves. The web pages aren't jpeg files!

What does the 400mm Seimar lens look like? Sounds like you got a bargain.

I'm sure someone here can advise you on how to link to images in Picassa Web albums - it's what they're for after all! But I haven't got a clue though.

Hi John.

The 400mm Seimar lens is an old 42mm screw lens and not so fine, there is a lot of dust behind the frontlens and it has been droped on the front, so I can't screw it out and clean it.

Sorry that I can't upload a picture of it.

I just tried Googling '400mm Seimar' and incredibly Google has picked up your last post already and it came second in the list. Phew.
Didn't know it trawled through that fast.

Alas, no photos of a lens like yours.

If you get an M42 to Pentax K adapter, it should be useable on your K5 etc.

John

Edit: Found one like it here perhaps?

Well, it is not my picture, but the same lens, 400mm f6.3. I have an adapter, so have to try it next week-end.

No problem. I found the link from the page source and added it as link (copy the Picasa link from the address bar, click the 'Link' button and paste it into the pop-up).

Flickr allows you to copy a 'BBcode' construct that you can paste between the [img] tags to link to a specific image, I don't know if Picasa does this.

Nice camera!
