MX-1 discontinued?

I wouldn't trust the B and H website for that....they've declared other items as discontinued in the past when they weren't. It might be more about lack of availability. I have a suspicion Ricoh/Pentax prioritise the markets where they perform better, and I think Japan, Australia and Europe are probably bigger for them than the USA currently.

Hope you are correct there Jon. The MX-1 has only been around for a year but then cameras do have an incredibly short shelf life now - unlike the original MX-1.

Blimey I hope not. I've set my heart on one and am just waiting for the price to fall within my reach. It's a long wait.
The trouble is, they'll launch an even better MX-2 with a viewfinder and a larger sensor. Such is the march of progress.

Best wishes,
