Museum Circuit

It's been a bit of a washout weekend here with wind and rain curtailing outdoor photography ( for me anyway). I decided to go on a circuit of my favourite Glasgow museums.

Kelvingrove - I think it was designed by a cake maker.

Dali - it's a real shame that this has been put in a small room. It was really difficult to get far enough back to take this with the 50mm f1.7.

The May Queen by Margaret MacDonald - it is difficult to get a decent shot of this as it's so high up. CS3 came into it's own here with the transform commands.

The green inerior leaves a lot to be desired - it'll also be a bugger to paint.

Ours is the 3rd oldest underground in the world - according to the notice. I remember travelling in these cars.

By the time I got to the Burrell it was packed so images were difficult to get. However the stained glass is something else.
