Multi Exposure

Hi
when I take multi exposures on my Pentax K5-IIs they look ok on the screen but when I download them onto my computer they come out in PINK??
(I always shoot in raw)

Help please??

In which program do they look pink on your PC?

I suspect this may be a colour profile issue on the computer rather than an issue with the camera.

What make / model of PC is it?

why would this happen with just the multi exposures?

I have Photoshop CS6 and the uploaded files go straight into Bridge

By multi exposures do you mean auto bracketed images? If so there should be no difference in these shots to any other shots taken, except the exposure setting would vary on each one. The White Balance (the other likely cause if it's not your Computer) should not vary.

It would be helpful to post the exact settings on your camera when taking these shots, also post an example image with the EXIF data.

No it's not bracketing- it has a special setting for multi exposures - lets you take up to 9 shots on the same exposure
The Exif data was as follows
1/100
F2.8
ISO200
Auto white balance - same settings as previous image taken and ones taken after
This is the image



All the other images are fine!

Hiya Marmimag, Does it do this every time?, no matter the subject and light. If you pointed it at your fireplace would you get the same colour?
...I've just done 9 shots and all the colours are as I expected them to be...

What happens if you load to image into another program? The image you have uploaded is modified from that produced by the K5 so it may be something to do with that.

I copied your image into Elements 11 and its automatic colour correction removed most of the pink cast, then a further tweak with colour variations cleared it completely.

Suggest you try reprocessing the image in camera to a small jpeg and see how that looks.

I know this isn't the answer to your question, but I had a play, and this is the best I could do while I wait for the postman, almost as JAK says really. Though I used CC is all, they all do pretty much the same thing.

It never effects my normal images just the multi- exposures!

As I said previously
No matter what image I take using the multi exposure setting it looks normal on the camera screen only turns pink when I have uploaded it via Bridge

Have a look at your colour settings in bridge, mine is set to Europe general purpose 3. Don't know if that's the best/correct as I don't use bridge as much as I should being a Lightroom user/addict!
