Motorcycling Shots

Prior to last month I had never bothered shooting anything but wildlife with the Sigma 150 500.
I continue to be impressed by the quality of this lens and dont understand what all the palava is about Pentax not being able to reach the dizzy heights of canon and nikon in autofocus capability. I received more incredulous looks and genuine shock of how good this setup was by top Canon shooters yesterday.

The photos below are a great example also of just how good the JPEGS are out of the K-5.

I changed it to 10MP and all photos are simply cropped. No other editing

Enjoy!

Very nice.

How did you actually focus? AF-C/S, or did you prefocus on a point?

Most impressed then. I was expecting you to say that you prefocused, to be honest.

Whatever you do, don't sell that lens (unless it's to me, obviously!).

Excellent shots Alistair, really well done. I also like my Siggy 150-500 and it performs well in the AF department, even in quite dim light. I've not tried continuous AF with it though.
