Problem is that if they are viewed a lot they will then generate more views because people are interested in seeing what everyone else is looking at...

David,
It is down to human nature and those full blooded Englishmen amongst us.
The sheep picture can probably be put down to one of the Welsh members having a daily peek!

I just checked to see which were the most viewed images in the PU Gallery. And surprise surprise. The top 11 were all scantily clad girls -so scanty in many cases the girls were totally starkers.
These views ran into the 100s not just the few dozen that most of us lesser photographers aspire to with our ordinary shots.
Peter Elgar heads the league with all top four placings - the most viewed picture of all being one his nudes with 305 views.
Strangely the best placed non-glamour shot is a picture of a sheep and a lamb by Peter Bargh at No. 12 and then Yve's bird picture (yes the other kind) at 13th. Next comes Lily's mono shot inside a Cornwall gallery at 14th. But that's got a bird in it too, a fully clothed barmaid. Then after some more glamour shots we moved onto landscapes, more birds, trains and planes. And more glamour.
Oh check the rest out yourselves. Life's too short.
