Another impressive macro. Would anyone have known what it is if you hadn't said???

I wonder whether the highlight on the lower part is a bit too bright. Would cropping just above the highlight work better?

Thanks,Steve.

If I hadn't posted it, I certainly wouldn't.........

Perhaps so.
Looking at it, The top half of this, cropped square would look nice, but I don't think it will take more crop, nor could I go closer. But leave it with me, I'll see what I can do!

Thanks for the interest shown,

Roger.

Really gd again... fascinating shapes in particular... interesting re crop... suppose it depends on what you’d like to draw attention to... there’s an incongruity to the length of the stalk that I really like... almost like the cone is precariously balancing on the end of it... then again, you could crop it if you wanted to focus more on the detail of the cone itself... choices, choices ...

Visually intriguing this one, Steve (and the length of the image plays its part here).

Sorry all, I think the subject just got blown away by the draught from an open door......

Re-shooting no longer possible.
There is another post, though.

Thanks for the interest shown,

Roger.
