That is a very nice macro and using the 35mm very much up close and personal, glad he/she obliged and sat quiet long enough, or was it a case you tired it out first.

Oh he ran at me a couple of times I realised the ol' reactions are still there I can tell you. No idea at that point if it was dangerous. I assumed he wasn't interested in me, so I got as close as poss, but that didn't stop me jumping like a little girl when it moved lol (I didn't actually scream, honest)

There is such a thing as a rain spider I thought we would know about them here in Wales
